Eileen
Brand has been a working
woman with a chequered career in her first ninety-one years.
She
worked in the fields and
dairy of her parents’ Ohio farm; in wartime aircraft and tire
factories;
in
large and small offices as secretary/bookkeeper, executive or legal
secretary.
She was a book
editor in an innovative publishing house and later a freelance
editor.
She
was the author of many
articles and news stories, co-editor with Janet Wolfe of Twenty
Years
of
Rational Therapy, co-author with Karen McConnell of The House
That Karen
Built (published in
the United States and in England), and is the author of
The Bodacious Ballot Box
Burglary: and
Other Mysteries of My First Ninety-One Years.

Brand now lives in Denver, Co.
